Context
According to our statistics, 70% of users visit the site from mobile devices, while the remaining 30% access it from desktops. Therefore, special attention is given to designing scenarios for the mobile version, following the mobile-first approach.
In the project, we are constantly looking for solutions to increase user engagement and retention on the site to boost conversion rates into purchases.
Process
The service has several target groups, so to improve conversion and engagement, it's important to consider their specific needs.
In collaboration with the team, we segmented the audience and I developed landing pages that feature personalized content, offers, and messages for each category. These landing pages highlight the accessibility, relevance, and value of the service in everyday life, ensuring that users don't need to make additional efforts to benefit from it.
To identify bottlenecks and improve conversion rates, we regularly conducted A/B tests. I stayed up to date with the current state of the product, tracked user feedback, and actively collaborated with the marketing, support, and analytics teams. All ideas and hypotheses were validated in team meetings, where we selected the option with the highest potential profit and the lowest development cost.
On average, A/B tests resulted in a conversion increase of 5 to 30%. In cases where the old and new versions showed similar results, we conducted an error analysis to understand why the desired outcome wasn't achieved. This process helps us approach problems from a different perspective and provides motivation to move forward, using the experience we've gained.
The result of the verification is a comprehensive report that provides users with the necessary information quickly and in a convenient format. This helps users make informed decisions with ease and efficiency.
Result
Segmentation makes targeted advertising more effective, helping users get more valuable and relevant offers. This increases user engagement and builds loyalty to the brand. As a result, metrics like pages viewed and time spent on the site improve. Better metrics lead to a higher average purchase value and longer customer relationships.
A loyal audience is key to success. By raising our prices, we significantly increased profits without losing customers.
