Users

The primary target audience of the product includes HR specialists, security service employees, car dealers, and managers.

The main tasks users solve within the service are:

  • Verifying data when hiring new employees, purchasing and evaluating vehicles, and selecting a partner company for collaboration.
  • Viewing and analyzing reports to make informed decisions.

Context & problems

By the time I joined the project, there was already a backlog of feedback from users, the sales department, and technical support, highlighting the difficulties encountered when working with the service.

After collecting and analyzing the data, it became clear that the main issues occurred during the first interaction with the service, data verification took longer than expected, and users faced challenges navigating the interface.

Presenting this data to stakeholders led to the decision to redesign the service and create an MVP version. We defined technical constraints, the resources available for the project, and set deadlines.

An additional challenge was that the new version of the service needed to be developed simultaneously for three platforms: web, iOS, and Android.

Expectations from the new version:

  • The verification cycle should be simple and as fast as possible
  • Clear and intuitive navigation, allowing users to understand the service from the first use without relying on manuals or onboarding
  • Prevent errors during data entry, as these directly affect the results of the verification
  • Avoid overwhelming the user with technical limitations and details; keep all that hidden behind the scenes
